Edward's Story - Ranelagh Primary
Edward is a Parent Governor at Ranelagh Primary School. The atmosphere and supportive ethos of Ranelagh really made it stand out for Edward compared to the other schools he visited. It maintains that local, almost village, community feel, even in a busy part of east London another reason which drew Edward towards Ranelagh.
Edward has recently been appointed as Parent Governor for Ranelagh and wanted to get involved with the governing body because he and his wife work full time, and cannot spend as much time at the school gates as they would like. Being a governor gives Edward an opportunity to keep in touch with all the goings-on at Ranelagh, as well as making a modest contribution to maintaining its high standards, for the best of all the children and the community.
Edward appreciated the supportive and inclusive ethos, and its drive for high standards, which can easily be seen through all the accreditations Ranelagh has been awarded and the sharing of the best educational practice and would recommend the school to his friends and family.
