An East London school where kids wear tracksuits and trainers and get a break every half hour has been hailed as "outstanding" in a new report. Kensington Primary School in East Ham was praised by Ofsted inspectors for its unique teaching style.
Headteacher Ben Levinson told the Local Democracy Reporting Service that the relaxed approach, with an emphasis on mental health, encouraged kids and helped them to enjoy school. Mr Levinson said the school's high-flying success is built on a curriculum which includes kids taking breaks during class every 30 minutes or so - and even taking classes outside.
