Every year Newham has a place of worship competition. It is very popular with 17 schools entering the competition. This is an opportunity for the children to showcase the work they have completed in RE. The work demonstrates their enjoyment and curiosity around the places of worship they have researched and visited. This year Curwen's four Reception classes entered and are proud to have won the following categories:

EYFS - Best response - Aivah, entered her fantastic descriptive writing piece retelling the Easter

EYFS - Best response - Curwen Reception classes visited a Church & Mosque and then made a fantastic monthly calendar exhibiting artefacts and also showed their theatrical Christmas productions
