Our Learning Walk Series
The Training Hub is planning on delivering a series of learning walks across the year based at various schools within the trust. Since we have had very little contact and the chance to develop our practice the last two years, this will be an opportunity to reconnect as well as look at a variety of areas in different settings. Each session will last for around 90min - 2hours, and each host school will receive a facilitator to work with from the Training Hub. The lead from the school and TH facilitator will plan and deliver the learning walk (based on a rough outline below) along with a small discussion. This will give our staff and any additional external staff an opportunity to see excellent practice and what our schools do.
Some sessions are more research based – such as transition and reaching all learners. Therefore these sessions may run slightly differently but will all be planned in advance. The role really of any school lead is to put some context to the setting which we cannot do, hence us working with you. A TH facilitator will be in contact with you to start to arrange the session roughly half a term before it happens. Each school can send up to 4 people to attend each session. We will be on contact to gather lists of attendees prior to the session
